As one of the most sought after Salsa DJ’s in the Cuban scene in London, DJ Sol’s passion for Salsa goes as far back as 1995, when he started dancing Salsa. His first job in Salsa was with Salsa Promoter “Oxley of London” as a teacher and events coordinator, working at some famous venues such as The Chicago Rock Café in Chelmsford, Café du Paris and the Fashion Café in London West End.

DJ Sol has since being involved in various major Salsa projects and events as a teacher, promoter, organiser, volunteer, and not to mention as a DJ. His ultimate passion is playing and bringing salsa beats to all Latin music lovers.

DJ Sol is highly skilled in his delivery of all Latin music style, such as Colombian Salsa, Puerto Rican Salsa, Mambo, Bachata, Reggaeton, Merengue etc.  However, he is mostly known as a Cuban Salsa DJ on the Salsa scene. Unsurprisingly his flavour for Salsa is traceable to his Yoruba roots as Salsa in general (especially Cuban Salsa) is influenced by traditional Yoruba music, beats, and dance movements of Western Nigeria where DJ Sol originates.
