The Congress takes place in and around the Grade 2 listed Bournemouth Pavilion & Dance Centre situated right in the heart of Bournemouth, overlooking the beach, the pier and Bournemouth gardens.

Built in the 1920s, the Pavilion retains its original Art Deco splendour and elegant styling and is Bournemouth's regular home for West End stage shows, Opera, Ballet, Pantomime and Ballroom dancing.

The Pavilion Ballroom is situated to the rear of the complex, overlooking the sea and features a large maple hardwood sprung dance floor. The ballroom is fully air-conditioned with capacity for 900 people and is served by two bars.

Daytime workshops take place in the Pavilion Ballroom and Pavilion Dance – a newly created regional dance centre underneath the Pavilion Ballroom.

Pavilion Dance is a unique new dance centre, funded by the Arts Council England and Dance South West, providing first-class dance facilities including air-conditioned dance studios and a dance theatre with sprung dance floors, changing rooms, showers and lockers directly opposite Bournemouth Beach.
